FAULTY SET TOP BOX
Sir,
1. I would like to state the following few lines for your consideration and favorable action please.
2. I purchased AIRTEL digital HD on 09 Jan 2014 from Goel Cable, Electronics & Gifts Shop, Sadar Bazar, New Delhi for Rs 1800/-. (Copy of bill is att).
3. The Set Top Box started giving trouble from 25 Jan 14. The Set top box failed to switch on in the evening and after one week it was completely dead. I complained for the same in Airtel customer centre on 25 Jan 14 (complaint no 35810194) and thereafter on 26 Jan (complaint no 35821801) & 27 Jan 14 (complaint no 35833542). On my complaint, an engineer from Airtel came and found the Set top box unserviceable. He brought an old set top box to replace the original one which I refused to replace. I then called Airtel Nodal Officer Delhi on 27 Jan 14 who told me to replace the existing set top box with a used set top box of good quality.
4. I bought the set top box with a warranty period of one year. It is the moral duty of the company to rectify it or replace it with new one. It is therefore requested to do the needful at the earliest.
